AutoIt is a script language, which is easy to learn. To use UniKey under this AutoIt environment is also simple.

  1. Install autoit-v3-setup.exe
  2. Copy and paste the UniKey.dll library file:
    • For 32-bit systems place into c:\windows\system32
    • For 64bits system place into c:\windows\sysWOW64
  3. Insert the UniKey dongle into your PC and double click the UniKey_Find.au3 sample You will see it return your dongle's HID, if no dongle is inserted, it will return an error code 200.
