Introduction

UniKey supports protection for flash files. Customers could use UniKey Flash Protection Solution for protecting their flash files.

It is quite easy to use UniKey Flash Protection Solution, as all the encryption is automatically implemented, and it only cost around 10 mintue for the user to master all the implementation steps.

The UniKey Flash Protection Solution is inside of UniKey SDK/Utilities folder.

Steps

Find source flash files(.swf)

Inside of the UniKey Flash Protection Solution, we provide a flash file demo sample as a guide for our customers to learn how to protect it.

Use Flash Player to Open it

Please double click the Flash Player 10 inside of UniKey Flash Protection Solution.

Then open the target flash file

Click File->Open to open the target flash file by using Flash Player.

Create the corresponding EXE format flash file

After the target flash file is opened, we need to use Flash Player to create the corresponding EXE format flash file

Please choose File->Create Projector in order to create EXE format flash file.

The EXE format flash file is created successfully.

Protect Flash File by Using UniKey Envelop Tool

After EXE format flash file is created, we can use UniKey Envelop Tool for protecting it directly.

This will allow the flash file binds with UniKey dongle and if the end users don’t insert the correct UniKey dongle into the system, the enveloped EXE flash file will not work.

We create a project and add the target EXE format flash file by using UniKey Envelop Tool, then hit Protect button and it will automatically envelope the flash file.

Then a folder named protected will be generated, please use the protected flash file inside of it for the final delivery to your end user.

You will find by using the enveloped flash file, the end user will have to insert the correct UniKey dongle in order to use your flash file. Otherwise, the protected flash file cannot work.
