Beware of phishing website
Canada, Jan 8 2010 (Montreal) – Customers of SecuTech are reminded to beware of phishing or fake websites used to conduct 'phishing attack' by www.e-secutech.com .

The www.e-secutech.com website was designed by a Chinese company, the administration page below shows their language is Chinese.
The reminder came from CCIRC Canada which revealed that the number of phishing attempts is on the rise and accelerating.
"The CCIRC Help Centre has been receiving numerous reports from UniKey users regarding phishing website www.e-secutech.com => 173.45.73.121 that looks exactly like www.esecutech.com , CCIRC officer said in a statement here today.
He said the 'phishing attack' also utilized a kind of social engineering tactic such as sending spam e-mails that looked as though they were sent by well-known company.
The fraudulent e-mail uses convincing words to trick people into clicking a link that would open up the phishing website or fake website, he said.
"Because the fake website looks exactly like the original website, customers are tricked into entering their confidential information like their user-names and passwords into the fake website," he said.
This way, the 'phishing attacker' could conveniently steal user-names and passwords of unsuspecting customers, he added.
Thus the centre advised the public to completely ignore the e-mails should they receive such e-mails which look similar to well-know companies.
Those who receive such spam e-mails are advised to contact SecuTech for verification or contact CCIRC.
